On the 12^th September, Dr Gabriella Pace was invited to address a Conference on Wage Policy. This was in fact Dr Pace’s first public intervention in her new position, following her appointment on the 1^st September 2006. This conference was organized by the GWU’s Fondazzjoni Reggie Miller together with the Friedrich Ebert Stifftung. Dr Pace’s intervention focused on Wages and the EU and touched upon the European Social Model vis-à-vis the Lisbon Agenda, social dialogue on wages in the EU, minimum wage regulation and the recent recommendation for a European minimum wage policy.
