This project gathers the various points of view and experiences of different NATURA 2000 users and stakeholders, in order to identify common interests and discuss possible disagreements. It also aims to enhance their participation in the management of the sites.
Its realisation is one of the concrete outcomes of the Sustainable Hunting Initiative (SHI), launched in 2001 by the European Commission, and of the FACE - BirdLife International Agreement signed in 2004 in the presence of the former Commissioner for Environment Margot Wallström.
