The National Council of Women organised a seminar for its members entitled ‘Il-Parlament Ewropew u Int’. The seminar was held on Friday 22^nd June at 18.00hrs at NCW Centre, Mountbatten Street, Blata l-Bajda.

The aim of the discussion was to help NCW members and other participants better understand the function of the EU and its Parliament, with the purpose of encouraging real debate and giving participants the opportunity to discover what they really think and how EU laws and policies affect their lives.

Dr Gabriella Pace, Forum’s Chief Executive was one of the keynote speakers and has been invited to deliver a presentation on the theme ‘The Relationship between the EU Council, EU Commission and EU Parliament - How do they work together?’. The other speakers were Joseph Muscat MEP and Dr Simon Busuttil MEP.
