The new Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (2007-2013) brings together several existing EU activities that support competitiveness and innovation. It includes all Community actions in the area of entrepreneurship, SMEs, innovation, industrial competitiveness, ICT development and use, environmental technologies and intelligent energy.

Forum Malta fl-Ewropa organized an Info Seminar on this new funding programme. The event, entitled ’CIP: Funding Opportunities for Competitiveness & Innovation’ was held on 28 June 2007 at Westin Dragonara Resort, St Julians.

Speakers included Vilmos Budavari, from the European Commission’s DG Enterprise and Industry.
