Forum Malta fl-Ewropa participated in the 3rd edition of the 'Europe Close to You' Fair, held  in Valletta. It targeted school children in the morning and the elderly in the evening. The selected theme for this year's event was the EURO.

Over 15 different EU information providers disseminated information and answered to questions from the public. On Saturday 12th the Fair was visited by the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and the Commissioner responsible for Economy and Finance Joaquin Almunia.
