The Malta-EU Steering and Action Committee (MEUSAC) participated in the Research EXPO 2008 organised by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST) between the 3rd and 7th November at Villa Bighi, Kalkara.

The aim of the EXPO was to showcase research in Malta and to promote related careers.  This activity also focused on scientific research and was open to all individuals and organisations involved in scientific research.  It targeted mainly science students in post-secondary and tertiary levels of education who need to be aware of research opportunities when taking career decisions.

During the exhibition information sessions were held to explain the local grants and scholarships available, as well as the EU’s research funding instrument, the Seventh Framework Programme.
