MEUSAC and the European Union Programmes Unit (EUPA) organized a half-day seminar on funding opportunities in the education and training sector, specifically for the benefit of Local Councils. The event, entitled Education Programmes 2007-2013, was held on 1^st December 2008 at Le Meridien Phoenicia, Floriana.

The seminar also included a panel discussion featuring Maltese experiences and beneficiaries. An opening address was delivered by The Hon. Dolores Cristina, Minister for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, while The Hon. Dr Chris Said, Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information delivered the closing address.
