MEUSAC and the Malta Standards Authority, in collaboration with the Malta Business Bureau (MBB), organised a briefing session for stakeholders on the current issues relating to the construction products sector, the discussions currently taking place at EU level and developments to be expected in the near future. The session was held on 25 November 2008 at The Exchange Buildings in Valletta.

The discussion was of particular interest to all operators dealing with construction products including:

• Importers
• Distributors
• Retailers
• Architects
• Civil engineers
• Other professionals and tradesmen in the sector
