Dr. Diane Saliba is Head of EU Policy & Legislation.
She first joined MEUSAC in February 2009 as an Executive. She was responsible for the consultation process in relation to Justice and Home Affairs and Competitiveness and Consumer Affairs.
Having graduated in laws from the University of Malta in 2006 Dr Saliba took part in an Erasmus exchange programme as part of her studies, following European law and international law courses for a semester at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium). She subsequently obtained an LL.M. in European Legal Studies at the College of Europe (Bruges).
Dr. Saliba furthered her expertise in European law by completing a traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxembourg within the cabinet of Judge Anthony Borg Barthet. She also worked as a lawyer-linguist in the Translation Division of the Court. Upon returning to Malta, Dr. Saliba worked in the financial services sector until joining MEUSAC.
In January 2010 Dr Saliba became responsible for the consultation processes managed by MEUSAC.
