This summer a vehicle will be touring 68 localities in Malta and Gozo providing the public with information about the European Union, as part of the information campaign “L-Ewropa fil-Pjazza” (Europe at the squares) which was officially launched on Friday 7th August 2009.

The aim of this project is to provide information about the EU. Three entities are involved in this project the EU Parliament, the European Commission and the government through MEUSAC.

This initiative is part of various projects spread over a period of 4 years which will cost around €800,000. The Commission provides the funding for the project while Malta is providing the human resources and infrastructure.
