Sharon Farrugia is an Executive EU Funding.

Ms. Farrugia graduated in Social Policy in 2008 and has worked in various social settings. She has been involved in voluntary and non-government organisations were she held/ still holds the position of Coordinator.

Ms Farrugia joined MEUSAC in 2009 as Funding Support Executive, having previously been involved in EU Funding with a private company.

Amongst her general duties, Ms. Farrugia is responsible to provide support and assistance to local councils and civil society organisations in identifying EU funding opportunities, as well as, provide technical specific assistance to help such beneficiaries in drawing up funding applications. Moreover, Ms. Farrugia acts as a consultant on various fields, such as the eligibility of projects against funding criteria and in the actual procedures that would lead to the submission of an application.
