MEUSAC together with MEPA organised a consultation session for stakeholders in relation to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive & also The Battery Directive in view of current discussions taking place on the WEEE Directive and the transposition of the Battery Directive.

Representatives from the Environment Protection Directorate within the Malta Environment and Planning Authority addressed this session, which tackled the law as it stands at present, the possible repercussions of their interpretation and actions to be taken by operators.

The session was held on 21st October 2009 at Projects House in Floriana.
