Cyrus Engerer

Cyrus.JPGCyrus Enġerer joined MEUSAC in February 2010 and is responsible for the dissemination of information on matters relating to ‘Employment, Social Policy & Health’, ‘Justice and Home Affairs’, ‘Education, Youth & Culture’ as well as EU Funding Programmes.  He is also a contributor to various publications, including MEUSAC News, as well as audio-visual media.

 

Cyrus, previously worked at PPCD within the Office of the Prime Minister, managing projects co-financed by the European Social Fund on the Capacity Building of Malta’s public sector as well as on Social Dialogue.  Prior to that, Cyrus worked in various roles in the audio-visual and online media sector, both locally and abroad.

 

Following his graduation in European Studies and Communications at the University of Malta, he won a scholarship offered by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and read a Masters Degree in European Politics and Administration at the College d’Europe in Bruges, Belgium.

 

In 2009 Cyrus was also elected as a member of the Sliema Local Council and is responsible for EU Affairs, International Relations, E-government, Youth and Sports.  He is involved in various NGOs.
