The final event of the two days of events in Gozo organised by MEUSAC was the official opening of the Joint Regional Office in Gozo for MEUSAC and MCESD on 19th May 2010. Apart from Dr. Chris Said, the event was also attended by Minister for Gozo, Ms. Giovanna Debono, who spoke about various decisions taken by Government throughout the years to help Gozo develop into what it is today. She praised the manner in which various organisation are joining forces in order to achieve better and more efficient results, amongst which she mentioned the collective effort by MEUSAC and MCESD which have been coordinating their work in order to achieve efficient results.

Also present for the opening were Dr. Vanni Xuereb, Mr. Sonny Portelli, MCESD Chairman, Dr. Godwin Grima, Principal Permanent Secretary, Mr. Joe Scerri, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Gozo, member of the Gozo Regional Committee and members of staff from MEUSAC and MCESD.
